Just east of Ventnor is Wheeler’s Bay, home to a large drying reef with off-lying rocks, particularly Cat Rock. There are similar reefs in the all the bays, Church Rocks in Horseshoe Bay, Monk’s Bay and Steel Bay, so stay in 5-10m soundings.
