A 19ft yacht is beached at Hengistbury Head but her solo skipper is missing
The search is continuing for the skipper of the 19ft yacht, She’ll Do, that was discovered beached at Hengistbury Head this morning.
Portland Coastguard were alerted by the wife of the missing man at 0245 this morning, long after he was due back at Christchurch Quay. She had spoekn to him at 2230 on his mobile when he was heading towards Poole.
The Coastguard discovered the yacht at 0440 with sails up, rudder broken and no sign of life.
A massive Coastguard and RNLI search continues.
