Olympics Day 6 postponed due to lack of wind

Light winds on day six of the 2008 Olympic sailing Regatta in Qingdao have forced the cancellation of racing in all classes for the day.

Reports suggest the wind got up to a maximum of four knots in the morning in Qingdao, dropping to a patchy three to five knots mid-to-late afternoon. The second race for the Finns, Ynglings, Lasers and Laser Radials was also postponed yesterday. All four classes plus the 49ers and RS:X s were scheduled to race today.
