Two men were rescued from a 20ft sailing boat 24 miles of Ramsgate, Kent after spending a night drifting in busy shipping lanes.

Concerned realtives of the men who left Herne Bay earlier in the day alerted the Coastguard.

They were airlifted from the boat by a Belgian helicopter.
