Gib'sea 414

Rob Humphreys was brought in to design
this elegant cruiser racer from the latter end
of the 19905 with similar lines to her larger
sister, the Gib’sea 48, one of which was
the successful Sealance. She was
offered with cruising or racing rig and
keel, the former having an iron keel of
6ft (1.8m) draught, the latter a lead
keel drawing 7ft Sin (2.5m) and
having a tapered, three spreader rig
with rod rigging. Both versions are
equally well fitted out below with
a linear galley facing a large
dinette. There are two doubles
aft and one forward. Two
heads are standard though
the after one can be
changed for lockers. She is
neatly fitted out and more
stylish than some of her sisters.
