Gib'sea 32

From 1984, this Joubert-Nivelt model was unusual
for her day in having two double after cabins in a 32
footer. She is actually slightly smaller, overall, than
the earlier 31, with almost identical beam, but she
carries her beam well aft to create the
necessary space. With a large galley
and chart table also aft, the saloon is
forward of the point of maximum
beam and quite cosy. The heads is
extremely tight and the forecabin
is also cramped. Contemporary
reports described her as being
more substantially built than
some earlier models and a
competent sailer.
