Comfortina 32

A fast, lively and good-looking cruiser-racer from the 1980s, with modest freeboard, a low, sleek coachroof and fine ends, the Comfortina 32 is rewarding to sail, particularly upwind. She carries a good spread of canvas and stands up to it well, thanks to her deep, 2-ton lead fi n keel, but heaves-to only reluctantly. Climbing down the companionway, you arrive in a large, open space with chart table and heads to port, and galley to starboard. The saloon is well forward in the hull, so the settees are quite close together. Headroom is about 6ft by the companionway but constricted further
forward. There is a V-berth in the forecabin and a double cabin aft.Stowage is excellent throughout.

LOA 9.5m (31ft 2in), LWL 7.5m (24ft 7in), beam 3.3m (10ft 10in), draught 1.7m (5ft 7in), displacement 4,582kg (10,080lb). Price guide: £35,000 to £45,000. YM Test Report May 1988.
