RNLI charity encourage people to tweet their rescue stories

The RNLI are encouraging sailors to tweet their rescue stories.

Stephen Wheatley, a volunteer crew member from Tower Lifeboat Station, has started a campaign through Facebook and Twitter called #SaveWave. He wants to encourage people to share their rescue stories onto social media sites so the public can see how easily accidents on the sea can happen and how they can be resolved.

To help raise the awareness of this campaign, sign up here. Members can sign up for free using just their social media accounts, then two selected rescue stories will be automatically fed through either their Twitter or Facebook each week.

If you’d like the chance to have your rescue story on our Learning Curve pages, get in touch via our Facebook or Twitter!
