Two cargo ships collided at 0130 on Friday 16th August, 14 miles east of Ramsgate, whilst in the same Dover shipping lane
No injuries have been reported from the combined 40 crew onboard the two16,000gross tonnage cargo vessels. Early reports list only surface damage of scrapes and dents.
The boats were travelling in the same direction when the incident occured in the Dover Strait shipping lane. The starboard-side of ‘Slotergracht’ and the port-side of ‘Catharina Oldendorff’ were affected
