National Boat Shows pulls out all the stops for 2010 show

The Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show 2010 will benefit from an aerial walkway in the North Hall from which visitors will be able to look at yachts. After the success of a smaller version in 2009, which was well received by visitors and exhibitors alike, the ‘Sailboat Boardwalk’ will be along the north wall where yachts are displayed.

‘It will be a great draw in the North Hall,’ said Andrew Williams, pictured, managing director of National Boat Shows. The viewing mezzanine gallery at Earl’s Court always provided a popular and different way to view boats and now ExCeL will offer something similar. The idea was first mooted in 2005 but was dismissed by one of Williams’ forebears, Paul Streeter, as too expensive.
