Lifeboat crew members also sharing their stories of the sea

Pete Goss is appearing at a Burns Night event in London next Tuesday to raise money for the RNLI.

Tickets for the evening are free and as well as Goss, who recently completed the transatlantic Route du Rhum race, comedy poets Abandoman and RNLI crew members will also be speaking.

All the usual Burns Night accompaniments will be on offer from traditional Scottish bands and pipers to haggis and whisky courtesy of Talisker.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste different Talisker bottlings with an expert from its Isle of Skye distillery.

The event begins at 1800 in St Katherine’s Dock and will include a silent auction and a raffle.
