Seb Clover is within hours of becoming the youngest person to sail solo across the Atlantic.

The 15-year-old Schoolboy from Cowes on the Isle of Wight has nothing between him and the history books except a few more miles of ocean. He left Tenerife on 19 December to race, single-handedly, against his father to Antigua in identical Contessa 32s.

Latest reports indicate that Seb is on course to arrive in Antigua just after lunchtime on Sunday. The pair have been racing hard against one another, but Seb has been troubled by rig problems, and his father is likely to beat him to the finish by 14 hours over the 2,700-mile voyage.
