16-19 August at Cowes this year

Following hot on the heels of Skandia Cowes Week, the 2007 Bénéteau Cup in Cowes will take place from 16-19 August this year.

There are four divisions to choose from, depending on how seriously you want to race – full-on IRC grand prix, leisurely white sail racing, or a mixture of fun racing and a very entertaining Treasure Hunt. There is fun for all the family, and serious competition for the hot-shots. All racing will be in the Solent, and berthing facilities are at the Cowes Yacht Haven. The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, just a short walk away, will be managing the racing, and Ancasta International will be laying on a programme of partying and entertainment throughout the weekend. The Spectacular Dubarry Jungle Ball will finish the event off.

The entry deadline has now been extended until Wednesday 15 August, see www.beneteaucup.co.uk for more details.
