Gib'sea 77

Introduced in 1980, this model, also designed by Group
Graal, was superseded by the 76 in 1984. Between them,
438 were built The 77 was a 26ft, sporty four·berth
cruiser with three keel options (fin, bilge and
centreboard). She had a quarter berth aft ofthe galley
and an after, enclosed heads but no chart table. In
common with other Gib’seas of the time, fittings
were lightweight She is light and easy to handle
and a good family coastal cruiser. The 76 was
beamier and longer on the waterline. The
accommodation for six was more open-plan,
though she managed a double cabin aft of an
improved galley and a big chart table.
