Two adults and a 13-year-old blew out to sea in a six foot inflatble dinghy after launching it near Ingoldmells, Skegness.

Only the speedy reaction of the inshore lifeboat prevented loss of life a Costguard spokesman said.

The craft had been picking up speed the further off shore it travelled.
