The International Fund for Animal Welfare is launching its new save the whale campaign aboard the Thames sailing barge Lady Daphne on 2 October.

The IFAW researches the lives of whales, dolphins and other marine mammals in a bid to help conserve their species.

At St Katherine’s Dock in London they are to announce the building of a new vessel to help in their work – Song of the Whale.
