NASA observatory failure

A spacecraft has crashed in the Southern Ocean after its rockets failed to get it in position 400 miles above earth on an orbit over the poles.

The craft was full of highly toxic fuel, hydrazine, but NASA claim this would have been burnt up before it hit the sea.

The observatory was to have probed where and how carbon dioxide is absorbed and also how much of the gas is being produced and from where.
