Antigua exodus was scheduled

The exodus of yachts from Antigua following the fatal shooting of Australian superyacht skipper Drew Gollan, was scheduled according to a local newspaper. The Antigua Sun said only four boats had cancelled their reservations to dock there since the murder.

According to a report from the Falmouth Harbour Marina, 11 boats had left Antigua with two listed as “not coming back.” Other reports said there has been a notable increase in security in and around Falmouth and English Harbour and many other security initiatives are to be put into effect shortly, including more street lighting adding security cameras for the area and cutting back foliage which makes public places ‘too dark’.
