Pit stop for another rudder bearing change

Sailing schoolboy Mike Perham, 17, is putting into Auckland for a bearing change – this time on the starboard rudder. The port rudder bearing was replaced in Hobart, now the other one is playing up.

His father Peter, told Yachting Monthly that the youngster would be under way in the ‘middle of next week’ as he is flying down with the spare part and hopes to have it fitted quickly.
