Now in its seventh year, the free-entry 2014 Barclays Jersey Boat Show takes place in the maritime heart of St Helier over the May Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 3rd – Monday 5th May. Getting the boating season off to a great start, enthusiasts and those just tempted to try the lifestyle can step on-board a broad selection of watercraft, including the latest models of luxurious yachts. With an impressive backdrop of visiting Royal Naval vessels, you can soak up the maritime flavour and heritage of the island along the adjacent quaysides which will also be bursting with exhibitors, seafood and entertainment.
 
If the thrill of racing is more your speed, then the Venture Cup – London to Monte Carlo Powerboat Race from Saturday 7th – Monday 9th June is not to be missed. For the first time, Jersey will play host to the world’s longest, toughest and most prestigious powerboat race. Up to 35 ocean-class powerboats from around the globe will race from the heart of London to the island of Jersey, in the first leg of this two-week 2,750 mile race. Visit the Venture Cup village in St Helier as the hub of all on-shore activity, while you catch the exciting action as it takes place on the water.
