City sailors raise £9,000 in Knox Johnston's boats
The Little Ship Club entered three Clipper 60 yachts in The Round the Island Race raising £9,000 for charity.
The boats were crewed by members of the Little Ship Club, the Wembley Sailing Club based at the Welsh Harp(Brent Reservoir) Wembley and The Worshipful Company of Management Consultants and their friends.
Being on identical matched yachts enabled the crew of the three yachts to compete not only in the famous Round the Island Race but also to pit their wits against their friends and fellow members in the largest yacht race in the world.
