James Jermain's tender holed

Former editor of Yachting Monthly, James Jermain, was enjoying the anchorage in Falmouth, Cornwall aboard his Dazcat when his inflatable tender was rammed and holed by a trimaran.

James went onto the YM Scuttlebutt forum to find out who the rogue yachtsman was and our readers helped track him down. It turns out he is an actor sailing to Sierra Leone to highlight the evils of the long ended slave trade.

Ironically, the sailor had recently appeared in a play, Black Men Can’t Swim, about a white yachtsman who collides with a DIY migrant boat.
