B&Q in new record bid
Dame Ellen MacArthur’s old trimaran, B&Q, is to be flogged around the world again this time re-named Musandam and sailed by a crew of five from Muscat. Weather dependent, Omani skipper Mohsin Al Busaidi will depart Marina Bander Al Rowdha for the start line tomorrow.
Al Busaidi will attempt to become the first Omani to circumnavigate the globe non-stop – it will also be the first circumnavigation for the two French and two British crew.
