Thirty-eight delegates from 11 countries meet today in Truro, Cornwall for the North Atlantic Coastguard Conference
The UK is hosting the North Atlantic Coastguard Conference which includes delegates from Spain, France, Iceland and Norway, among others.
Members from 22 rescue co-ordination centres will also attend the conference which includes a visit to the satellite station at Goonhilly Down and the Falmouth Maritime Rescue Co-Ordination Centre.
Speakers include officials from the Royal Ocean Racing Club, Inmarsat and emergency towing companies.
