The Chichester Marina Boat Show will offer visitors exhibitions of new and used boats, a flare disposal service and a dedicated watersports area when it takes place on 27-28 April 2019

Yachting Monthly‘s editor Theo Stocker will be leading the line up of experts at this year’s Chichester Marina Boat Show & Watersports Festival.

Held at Premier’s Chichester Marina on 27-28 April 2019, there will be on-water and onshore displays of new and used boats from Ancasta International Boat Sales, the main brand dealers for Beneteau Sail and Power and Lagoon Catamarans, Blackrock Yachting, which is the main dealer for Jeanneau Sail and Power, BRIG Ribs and  Network Yacht Brokers. American brand Hinckley Yachts will also be displaying a Runabout 34, RBS Marine a Rodan and Cornish Crabbers a Shrimper 21.

Sussex Boat Shop. will be showcasing their Parker and Oki models and displaying canvas covers and upholstery exhibits along with offering a same day repair service on canvas hardware.

A Flares Disposal Service sponsored by Premier Marine Insurance in association with marine insurers GJW Direct will be held on the Sunday and will be free of charge to Premier berth holders with a £2 per flare charge for visitors.

The RNLI will be on hand to conduct life-jacket clinics and own boat checks (make your appointment at the show) on both days.

Visitors will get the chance to pick up some great tips in the ‘Meet The Experts’ Tent – from engine care and sail repair and performance, to how to be safe on the water and the importance of life-jacket checks. Yachting Monthly editor Theo Stocker will be talking about the future of sailing and yacht design.

For those who like a tipple, connoisseurs of gin, Brilliant Gin will be demonstrating how to enjoy gin mixed or in its purest form, over ice on both days and you can learn how to cook up delicious one pot dishes on the water the Riverford way and what steps you can take to turn the tide on plastic pollution!

There will also be a wide range of additional products and services on display, including luxury cars from Harwoods Group, kayak and canoeing experiences from Fluid Adventures, sailing and life-style clothing from Coastal and Outdoor Living, paddleboards and watersport accessories from Aqua Living and marine electronics from Roger Upham Marine Electronics (represented by Raymarine).

RYA Training Centre Chichester & Portsmouth Marine Training will be on hand to offer advice to boat owners on their practical and shorebased training needs and Chichester Yacht Club will have its 2019 cruising, racing and social programme available.

Local companies, Parker Marine Services, Elite Teak, Generation Graphics (vinyl boat wrapping specialists) Anode Outlet and Elvstrom Sails UK will also be in attendance with pop up displays.

Sailors with out of date flares can make use of the disposal service, which is being held on 28 April by disposal expert Ramora UK, and is sponsored by Premier Marine Insurance in association with marine insurers GJW Direct. Disposal is free to Premier Marinas’ berth holders or costs £2 for each flare for visitors.

Among the product exhibitors at the Chichester Marina Boat Show will be Coastal and Outdoor Living, Aqua Living and marine electronics, including Raymarine, from Roger Upham Marine Electronics.

Flares

There will be a flare disposal service for visitors on the 28 April 2019

RYA Training Centre Chichester & Portsmouth Marine Training will be on hand to offer advice to boat owners on their practical and shorebased training needs.

Chichester Yacht Club will have its 2019 cruising, racing and social programme available during the show,  inviting members and visitors to enjoy refreshments in the clubhouse, as well as a BBQ in the club’s waterfront gardens on 27 April 2019.

There will also be a children’s zone with nautical themed entertainment, and a dedicated food and drink area showcasing artisan gin specialists, Brilliant Gin.

Representatives from Premier Marine Insurance, in partnership with GJW Direct, will also be available to provide visitors with a quote.
