Coastguards have warned dog-owners to keep their pets on a tight lease following the death of three pooches from clifftop falls.

Two dogs died after plunging from Bolt Tail, near Hope Cove, Devon a third after it fell off cliffs at Kings Hole, near Beer, also in Devon.

A full cliff climbing team was used to recover two dog corpses from the sea at Hope Cove.
