UK's biggest marina targetted for major development

More than 800 homes and a 409 storey tower are planned for the UK’s biggest marina at Brighton.

The city council vetoed the £235m scheme last year because the proposals were deemed too big and would create traffic.

Brighton’s Kemp Town Society says the 40-storey tower would obstruct their view of the coast. Brunswick Developments acquired the long lease of Brighton Marina in 1996 and promise 100 permanent jobs at the marina.
