Delphia 46DS
Originally launched in 2011 as the 46 CC, the 46 has regenerated herself at the 46DS. She has a Deck saloon with large windows as before – in fact the deck hasn’t changed – however now the saloon has been transformed by the addition of a forward facing chart table and fore/aft seating in the saloon which makes the most of the views. The longitudinal galley has copious amounts of storage, and the draws beneath the work surface just keep coming out – the use some of the space under the deck. They are deep and are all fitted with soft closures. Below the floor is more stowage, where there isn’t tankage. Strangely though there is a tank on the side port side that is easily accessible, but not on the starboard side which has a cavernous locker under the helm seat. Under the aft saloon seating is room for a generator.
Forward is a sizable V-berth with a large en suite heads and shower compartment. There is another heads size compartment just forward of the galley, but on this boat it’s turned into a laundry room with the addition of a washing machine.
Aft is the Owners cabin, the double berth is tucked neatly under where the companionway steps come down making the double berth both cosy and practical. The bed is aft facing with a flatscreen TV on the aft bulkhead, flanked and armchairs either side.
She’s available with either a deep or shallow fin as well as a swing keel
