Yachting Monthly in association with the RYA today announces the creation of a new sailing challenge in which yachtsmen and women from RYA affiliated sailing clubs can enter a series of races to be held in the Solent with the final on May 5th.

The winning crew from the final will each receive a free Sunsail Caribbean holiday worth 10,000 pounds sterling in total.

Four heats of 20 boats will take place over the first two weekends in April and will be sailed in Sunsail’s matched fleet of Jeanneau Sunfast 37s. The Gunwharf Quays complex in Portsmouth Harbour will be hosting the events, including the prize-giving after each heat.
