The 34 is the mainstay of the Catalina range since 1986, with 1,600 built to date. She is a well-balanced boat with good handling characteristics. The interior is open and spacious with a particularly large, moulded galley, but an inadequate chart table. With limited stowage, she is not ideally suited to long passage-making, but is a good family cruiser for summer holidays and weekending. Because of her long production run, prices vary greatly.
