2007 promises to be the best year for ExCel show

The 2007 London Boat Show will be themed around the sentiment that Britain is an Island Nation. Most of us are only two generations on from a professional seafarer; some of whom worked where ExCeL stands today. The latest idea to be incorporated into the show will be a ‘hands-on’ anti-fouling stand where visitors can try out the various systems available.

The seating will be huge knots, and every knot will be different, so you can
learn as you have your lunch. Also children under 16 can go in free of charge and with an adult ticket comes a free showguide worth £7.

Visitors will also be able to get a bird’s eye view of the show
from a specially created lighthouse. You can save money by
booking your tickets now – buy one adult ticket and get
the second for half price. Call 0870 060 0246 and
quote ‘London Preview’. For more information on the LBS see Yachting Monthly October issue, out soon.
