Former YM editor to get recompense

The rogue yachtsman whose trimaran holed the inflatable dinghy of former Yachting Monthly editor, James Jermain, has offered to pay for the damage.

As a result James has retracted his description of the fellow as a ‘cad’.

James was moored in his Dazcat in Falmouth Harbour when the accident happened. The offending sailor had agreed to turn up the following day to exchange details but then failed to show up. He has now been in touch.
