A replica of Bill Tilman’s Bristol Channel Pilot cutter, Mischief, is to be launched at Cardiff later this month. To mark the launch an evening dedicated to the enigmatic yachtsman is being held at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club on 23 November.

TV producer John Mead will introduce two documentaries on the mountaineer-yachtsman: No Pay – No Prospects – Not much Pleasure and It’s a bit British.
