17 ft RIB used to dispose of murdered mother-of-three, court told

Mother-of-three Belinda Gibson, 32, from Southampton was smothered by her husband and father-in-law before being taken out to sea and dumped possibly somewhere off the Needles on the Isle of Wight, a jury has heard.

Garage worker David Gibson, 33, and his father Leslie, 65, are accused of murdering Belinda Gibson and taking her body out to sea in a 17 ft RIB.

David Gibson had talked about dumping her body off the Needles and using her body as fishbait, Winchester Crown Court heard.

Both have pleaded not guilty to murder. The trial continues.
