First River Thames art exhibition features yacht

A pitchpoling yacht which refuses to sink is to be one the attractions at London’s first annual art exhibition on the Thames.

The contemporary art show, taking place this autumn, will feature seven works by major international and emerging artists. The works will be placed along the river bank between Blackfriars Bridge and Tower Bridge and will be on show from 26 September to 19 October.

A series of free boat tours and an educational programme for members of the public will run alongside the exhibition.
