Second year running

Yacht insurers Navigators and General has been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard for the second time in a row.

With 36 staff at its Brighton office the company has been insuring boats for over 90 years, and set-up home in Brighton in 1975. A quarter of the current team have been working for the company for over 25 years – and some for over 30 years.

Fran Henderson, CEO, said: “We aim to share best practice and contribute to the community by developing and strengthening our relationships with local businesses and schools. This can be through work experience placements for students, mentoring and supporting individuals seeking employment and promoting professional advancement within local universities.”
