Hamble Point's Ketch Rigger has been sold and the Gaff Rigger at Mercury Marina is on the market
The Ketch Rigger bar at Hamble Point Marina has been sold to a local couple, Sue and John Nutter. Retiring proprietor, Bill Major, will still work occassional weekends.
The Gaff Rigger bar at the neighbouring Mercury Marina is also up for sale. The leasehold asking price is GBP 80,000 and interested parties should call Nicholas Calfe at Christie & Co (01962 844455).
The Ketch Rigger was sold for an undisclosed figure off a leasehold asking price of GBP 75,000.
