Island Packet Yachts has appointed Walton Marine as its new distributor for the UK and Ireland, according to IBI magazine.

Walton, which is based in Swanwick Marina on the Hamble, says that it will select suitable trading partners to help them support owners in Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Walton’s managing director Mike Cook said: ‘This is a great opportunity for the business to add traditional cruising sailboats to our product range which offer a high quality, offshore cruising focus – well-suited to our sailing environment.’

Headquartered in Largo, Florida, Island Packet Yachts builds 32ft-42ft classically-styled cruisers and has a 20-year sales history in the UK.
