The two man crew of the fishing vessel Valhalla have been rescued by another fishing boat, Girl Margaret, after their boat started sinking 20 miles east of Kilkeel Head, Northern Ireland.

Belfast Coastguard received a call from the stricken boat but so ,too, did the Girl Margaret.

The rescued men are from Ardglass.
