Two of Contessa‘s iconic designs are celebrating significant milestones this year and are throwing special events to commemorate them.

The Contessa 32 (pictured above) is turning 40 and is holding its celebration on June 18/19.

The 26s are celebrating their 45th anniversary on July 15-17. Both events are to be held in Lymington.

This is contrary to a notice in the March edition of Yachting Monthly, which incorrectly said that June 18/19 was a joint celebration for both classes.

The 26s are holding a barbecue on the Friday evening, before a short Solent cruise and a dinner at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club on Saturday evening.

On Sunday there is a fun race to Yarmouth, followed by lunch at Royal Solent Yacht Club.
