Schoolboy Michael Perham is auctioning Cheeky Monkey, his £40,000, Tide 28, trailer sailer in which he crossed the Atlantic last year aged just 14.

The bids have been made at the Earls Court Boat Show and are now up to £30,000. Bidding will continue until 4pm on Sunday when the show closes.
