National Boat Shows are considering legal action over Earl's Court date cock-up

National Boat Shows is considering legal action to force Earl’s Court to let the last show in their hall go ahead at the dates already fixed.

Owing to a cock-up the Boat Show exhibition time clashes with the next show by the Amusement Trades Exhibition.

Currently ATE is scheduled to open on Wednesday 21 January only 3 days after the final day of 2003 London Boat Show (Sunday 19 January). For breakdown purposes a 6-day run is needed to clear all boats and show equipment from the Earls Court site.

‘National Boat Shows has been in continuous negotiations with Earls Court on a daily basis to try and resolve the problem. As of today these negotiations are ongoing with NBS striving to reach a satisfactory conclusion with Earls Court,’ a NBS spokesman said.
