34 vessels will gather at St Katharine Docks

A collection of classic and historic vessels will come to London this weekend for the St Katharine Docks Classic Boat Festival.

The fleet will be moored at London’s most historic dock as part of the Mayor’s Thames Festival. A free river taxi will transport people from St Katharine’s Pier to Festival Pier, where visitors can experience the Mayor’s festival celebrating London and the River Thames.

Some of the boats invited to join the Classic Boat Festival include Bermudian sloops, wooden river cruisers, a steam tug and a Dunkirk Little Ship celebrating her 75th anniversary this year.
