The family of a missing yachstman have put out a desperate plea for help via Facebook after he was reported as having fallen overboard while crossing the Indian Ocean.
Sean Terry, 48, disappeared en route to Madagascar in June, while completing what was to be the final leg of a circumnavigation on his yacht Finnegan.
When the boat arrived in the Seychelles on 25 June, Sean was reported missing, having been 'lost overboard' some days previously. His family say they were notified of his disappearance on the 11 July.
'We are extremely grateful for the excellent cooperation we have received from both the Seychelles police and the British High Commission,' a family spokesperson said. An investigation is ongoing into the case.
