Yacht sinks in Hamble

A 28ft yacht sank in the middle of the River Hamble, Hants, after a collision during a Hamble Combined Clubs race.
Flying Fish, a Laser 28, reportedly one of the boats to have appeared in the TV soap Howards Way, was dragged clear of the fairway to piles where she was made fast.
A spokeswoman for Hamble Harbour Office said: 'She is being lifted as we speak and will be taken to Hamble Yacht Services. No one was hurt.'
