No Man's Land Fort, a Victorian armour-plated structure used as a hotel in the Solent, has been put up for sale. Administrators KPMG expect the property to fetch a cool £4million.
Built in the 1880s as protection for naval Portsmouth, the 200 by 60 foot fort was first sold in the 1960s. The fort was transformed into a hotel in the 1980s, and boasts 21 rooms, with a swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzis and a couple of helicopter pads.
One problem: there's no car parking...
