Blind man's bid for water speed record



A blind man will reveal his attempt to drive a powerboat at more than 100 mph at the Southampton Boat Show.

Mark Threadgold intends to helm a Bladerunner RS6 powerboat to beat the Blind World Water Speed Record of 73.06 mph.

The actual bid will be made on Lake Windermere, Cumbria.
