The RYA Yachtmaster Scheme brochure aims to provide an informative introductory guide to the RYA Cruising Scheme and will help you find the right course. Also offered is an insight into 'How to pass your Yachtmaster exam' by Penny Haire, RYA Chief Cruising Instructor, focusing on the practical aspects of the qualification including experience needed by candidates, booking requirements and what actually happens during an examination.
The remainder of the brochure is dedicated to sail and motor cruising courses and schools in 2002 and is the most comprehensive list containing all active schools recognised by the RYA, the schools themselves have supplied all course and school information.
In a user-friendly format the details of sailing schools are displayed geographically by sailing base or main area of operation.
