Run the risk of jail with your multi-tool

Friend called me recently to say that he is now so worried about being pulled over by the police while driving the 40 minutes to and from his yacht, that he leaves his multi-tool  knife on board. 'I used always to carry it in my pocket as it is as useful in the home as on the boat, but since discovering that any knife with a lockable blade is an offence to carry in public, I don't anymore.'
