Anyone astern of my Contessa 32 in a blow better watch out for shards of fibreglass shrapnel as every time I reef the flogging leech catapults my battens to Kingdom Come.
I'm sick of replacing them and wonder whatever happened to those little bits of line with which you could tie in your battens.
Just having a luff facing end pocket is not effective in my experience.
